All SCE teaching vacancies are advertised on this website and can be accessed by selecting the "Current SCE Vacancies" option from the menu to the right, vacancies can also be viewed in The Times Educational Supplement - Overseas Section, which is published weekly and are also advertised on the TES website which can be accessed by clicking here.

Please note: All applicants for Teacher and Soulbury posts who are invited to interview will also be required to teach, give a presentation or undertake other appropriate activities. The precise nature of the requirement will be notified in the invitation to interview letter

Application packs are to be downloaded from this website, and is accessed by selecting the published vacancy, for each vacancy there will be a Job Description, Person Specification and any further particulars the Line Manager may have supplied. If you are unable to obtain an application pack electronically you can request a hard copy from the People Services Centre, quoting the Requisition (Vacancy) Number provided in the advert, and whose contact details are shown below.

Applications for vacancies are to be submitted using an SCE Application Form, which can be accessed from the Application Pack section of each vacancy, and is to be accompanied by a Letter of Application and an up-to-date CV.

Completed applications should be sent by e-mail (where possible) to the appropriate address as stated on the job advert. This will be directly to the School or Unit. If you are unable to e-mail your application a hard copy can be sent, but please fax as well as even first class post may take up to five days to a reach a BFPO address. Please note late applications will be automatically rejected.

Please note that application forms should only be submitted in response to job adverts. Applications for non-specific jobs will be rejected.

All applicants must be experienced with a UK recognised teaching qualification. If you have been resident outside the UK for any time in the last 5 years you must contact the People Services Centre for advice. All SCE posts require an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
