Summary:

Double Science GCSE will already have introduced you to Chemistry and you will have studied atomic structures, kinetic theory, chemical reactions and energetics. This course provides an opportunity to further your knowledge in these areas and will also introduce new concepts. At the same time as extending your knowledge, you will be encouraged to apply your understanding to familiar and unfamiliar situations; you will develop your ability to perform experiments and record and interpret observations; you will develop your communication skills in appropriate ways.

Requirements:

A grade B in GCSE Core Science together with a B in Additional Science is required for this course. Alternatively a GCSE grade B in Chemistry. Variations on this can be considered

AS Level The AS course is comprised of 3 units taken in one year. The AS units are: -F321: Atoms, Bonds and Groups -F322: Chains, Energy and Resources -F323: Practical Skills Chemistry 1
