The event will be a celebration of Art, Drama and Music involving pupils, teachers, parents and professional artists working in schools.

SHINE, the National Schools Festival

SHINE, the National Schools Festival

The sixth Big Arts Week will take place in Service Children's Education (SCE), The week of 22nd June - 26 June 2009 and will focus on Celebrating Cutural Diversity and will link closely to The National Schools Festival SHINE.

We are also looking for volunteer artists especially writers and authors who would give of their time to work with us, if you would like to contribute please contact the Arts Project Team by using the "Contact The Arts Team" form.

The event looks to be an exciting one and already schools are planning exciting projects in their areas.

We hope you will be a part of BIG ARTS WEEK 2009. - Joy Harris, Project Co-ordinator and SCE Arts Consultant
